Testimonials

To whom it may concern,

We commissioned Nathan to build a large roofed deck on the second level of our bricked house and replace our rear deck. We were absolutely delighted with how easy it all was. He was so easy to communicate with, and so responsive to our requests, nothing was too much trouble. It took all the worry and stress out of the process, such that we missed him when he was finished!

The quality of the workmanship was top class, with keen attention to detail. For instance, he went to a great deal of trouble to source our original bricks to build the support pillars for the front deck - our house was by this time was some twenty years old. The result was that the front balcony, rather than looking like an extension, looked so well integrated that it looks like part of the original house structure, a most pleasing yet unexpected result.

He advised us when he thought of a better way to do something, what materials to use for maximum longevity and ease of maintenance, what he thought would look and/or work better, as well as safety issues. For instance, to retain the view yet have the decks safe for grandchildren, he suggested on the rear deck that we consider railing with safety wire, which has worked out really well.

There really was full consultation throughout the building process. The work was completed in the time specified, with the site being cleaned up every day. At all times he was exceptionally good natured, very accommodating, attentive to our concerns, and generally a pleasure to work with. We would unhesitatingly recommend him for any building project.
